    I'm from California, I've been living in Brisbane for 9 months and I see those everywhere! Some of them are really neat! Thanks for posting this. :)

    There are some similar ones in parts of St. Louis. Not sure where though - I was horribly lost at the time...

    where's the traffic signal bit? is the artwork on the non-light sides?

    I was confused with this at first too. If you say "Traffic Signal" in the United States it's synonymous with "Stoplight" -- I was wondering where the red/green/yellow lights are.

    I think Americans would understand these more as "Traffic Signal Control Boxes"
