where’s the traffic signal bit? is the artwork on the non-light sides?

I was confused with this at first too. If you say “Traffic Signal” in the United States it’s synonymous with “Stoplight” — I was wondering where the red/green/yellow lights are.
I think Americans would understand these more as “Traffic Signal Control Boxes”
