    It's a good thing they didn't try to move it themselves, like this guy who got his house stranded on the 101 Freeway.

    By the way, that particular house has been moved to its final destination ... somewhere in my hometown of Santa Clarita, California.

    What I'd like to know is how they get it on and off the wheels and supporting beams.

    In Heuersdorf, Germany there's right now a 13th century church beeing moved 12 kilometers because of an expanding coal pit. A short clip you can see here:
