The Human LCD

This video shows the boys from South Korea cheering for their soccer teams with their clothes rather than using cards. They have a jacket that is one color on the back, one on the front, and that they can open or close to show a third color shirt on the inside. Link

Thats really amazing. The next time I’m at a game and someone starts the “wave”, its really going to look unimpressive.
I just wonder how the people know what to do and they coordinate all of that…..do you think they practice?

The timing is down to an art. i wonder if each chair has been given a set of color change cues so that it works out properly.

Can U.S. sports fans even conceive of organizing, much less executing, such a display? Nah, let’s just throw snowballs and beer cups/cans/bottles. Ever wonder why the Koreans have stormed the world consumer market (Samsung, LG, Hyundai)? Oh well, just let me see that LG Prada phone now.

Just how does one choreograph all this? Geesh! Can you imagine how long that took?

    Ah ye of little faith…

This following clip is from the documentary, “A State Of Mind” (currently available through Netflix). The guys who organize the mass games in North Korea are absolutely obsessed with this particular stunt.
