The Real World, Darth Vader Edition

Alex

Life for Vader is not all about building the Death Star. Buenos Aires-based graphic designer Esteban Diacono's "The Real World: Darth Vader" photoset on Flickr gave a glimpse on the everyday life of the Sith Lord.

In this photo above, titled "The Circle is Complete," Vader is reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

There's something kind of charming about this, and it reminds me of a comedy sketch I saw years back about Ming the Merciless, kicking back and relaxing in his modest suburban home after a hard day of brutal tyranny:

As the creator of the Para-Cycle concept, to my knowlege we preceeded the Fresh Breese Flyke by some 2 or 3 years. Our debut was in Oshkosh Wi. 1997. We won the "innovation award". We did experiment with two diffrent street power systems. One was a 49 cc motor and the other a "revolutionary-for-it's-time" electric drive unit.
Alass, we ran out of money before we could sell enough of them to make a viable business out of it. It seems like there are millions of people willing to spend $5,000.00 dollars for a personal aviaition device that litteraly costs almost $10,000.00 (to properly manufacture). So I say "go for it" if YOU can do that.

If you want to see something currently hapening that's REALLY cool, go here; http://www.jet-man.com/actuel.html
