Fancy Birdhouse is Camouflage for Security Cameras

Neatorama reader Rich B., who is on a 100-day driving trip across the US, sent in some photos of fancy schmancy birdhouses in Congress Park, Saratoga Springs, New York. Upon closer inspection, you can see that they have security cameras underneath!

You cannot be too careful with those terrorist squirrels still at large and just awaiting their orders

Hey, I grew up across the street from congress park! I remember when I was in junior high my best friend and I went in to city hall and accosted one of the commissioners because we’d heard a rumor that they were going to put cameras in the park. He assured us that that was a silly notion, and they’d never put cameras in the park. 6 months later those things went up. No one was fooled.
