    Amazing but ouch! Everyone must have been knocking into each other. The people at the sides were probably being scrapped against the sides!

    ok thats just disgusting, the water looks yellowish grey. Like dead skin cells floating in a pee broth. If I lived somewhere that crowded, I'd have severe depression. I need my space. Thank god I live in the countryside far from city life with lakes and rivers that are clear, clean, cool, and "people free" in the summer.

    Newsflash: Japan is a bunch of islands! The ocean and REAL waves are not that far away from wherever you are!

    This is really disgusting ... amazing that they will think Westerners are dirty for not having special bathroom flipflops to wear in their own house, yet pack themselves belly-to-ass into this petri dish. Yecch.

    For japan, this is reality.

    For the rest of the world (Ie, the UK, USA) this is merely a look at 10, 20 years into the future, as population doubles... and doubles again... and again...

    I think they actually get everyone out of the pool every half an hour or so to check for bodies.
