Piilo: Futuristic Tent.

You’d probably never guess that this translucent, flexible membrane is actually a tent called Piilo, created by Markus Michalski. What? Don’t believe me? Check it out yourself: Link – via electro^plankton

This is not a tent. It is more like Les Nessman putting tape on the floor where he thinks his office walls should be. How does putting a visual barier between you and everyone else "express a feeling of belonging and sensuality?"

It doesn't do the two main things I look for in a tent. Keep out bugs and keep out rain.

It's a cool idea, but that's not something you could go camping with.
