NYTimes and WSJ review the iPhone

Posted by Adam Stanhope in Blog & Internet, Gadget, Video Clips on June 27, 2007 at 12:29 am

The iPhone is coming! The iPhone is coming!

The New York Times review (by geek hero David Pogue) comes in the form of a video on YouTube, embedded above.

The Wall Street Journal review by Walter Mossberg and Katherine Boehret also includes a video, embedded in the same page as the review.

Word.

Update: CrunchGear.com is maintaining a growing list of iPhone reviews in case you just can’t get enough.

This phone has to be great, because it can help people to comunicate in a more sophisticated way like sending eachother some data and not only voice.

Thank you for sharing this story with me !

Not that I don’t enjoy a good herd mentality as much as the next person, but is anybody else sick to death of the iPhone hype? No sacrilege intended, I’m sure it’s the most amazing creation ever gifted unto the world by St. Jobs but boy, at this point I think I’d be happier with two tin cans and a string if it meant never having to hear about this thing again *grouch grouch grouch*

The UI is the biggest question mark in the iPhone’s future, and the keyboard, the most key driver of the adoption curve … http://sramanamitra.com/blog/999
I still cannot imagine typing long blocks of text on this device, but if they have truly got this right …

Am I the only one who thinks David Pogue should moonlight as a GWB impersonator?

Looks fantastic, with built-in obsolescence. Steve Jobs knows how to keep ‘em coming back.
