The Evolution of Video

Motorola produced a fantastic commercial, “The Evolution of Video,” to introduce a new “high resolution” mobile phone. The commercial appears at the end of this great “making of” video. They used the image of a man riding a horse to step through every different major style of film making as it has evolved, from stop action photos of a galloping horse to a machine-gun wielding thief in modern day New York evading the police and beyond. I love the fact that they used the same actor for each of the different sequences. Very cool and clever. Note that neither I nor Neatorama are being remunerated by Motorola for publicizing this video. (Note to Alex: Hmmm – maybe not a bad idea? Get me Motorola on the phone! hehe). Link at YouTube.

The WEBSITE isn't for sale. *I'm* for sale. Big difference!
