    I had a summer job at this store a few years back, when they were called "The Computer Store." They've been around forever (in computer years.) since the early 80's I believe. Of course there are a lot of really tech savvy folks there, which makes me wonder if the ambigous the/wtf is not intentional...

    I lived right next to this place for 2 years. It was only during the last couple of months did I realize that it was supposed to be a 'the'.

    Oh yeah! Honky-Tonk's right: They used to be "The Computer Store," and their old building (in Ballard, not the U Dist like it is now) had classy metal placards. Though given that it was renamed sometime in the late 90s, the ambiguous the/wtf is probably unintentional.
