    i know japanese swords are amazing but... tomato and egg? can't you do that with a regular knife thin enough?

    You're right. A tomato and an egg are totally lame. They should have done it the traditional way and taken a live prisoner and tested how cleanly it sliced through him.

    After all, i still think it's not so bad..try to slice a tomato with an European styled sword :-)

    maybe one of the hardest things is to move the sword with that straight precise line...
