Aleksey Igudesman and Richard Hyung-ki Joo met as 12-year-old students at the Yehudi Menuhin School of Music. Their music/comedy show, A Little Nighmare Music has played all over Europe, but they have never performed in the United States. Push play or go to YouTube. More videos are available at their site. That is absolutely brilliant! :D Finally, a clip I found online that I can share and enjoy with my father (he’s a composer of the old, grumpy sort)

Miss C, that’s so awesome! By far, that’s my favorite Rach Prelude to play. Maybe I have slightly larger hands than that pianist (as I don’t need wooden helpers, lol), but some of those chords are basically impossible. You should see the music – it shows 4 staffs at the same time because his fingers could span almost the entire way from high c to low c, and he wrote music accordingly.
