Living in a Really Narrow House.

By Alex in Architecture on Mar 10, 2007 at 1:24 pm

Helenita, the woman in yellow, designed and live in this 1 meter (about 3.3 feet) wide by 10 meter tall house in Madre de Deus, Brazil.

The kitchen look suspiciously larger than 1 m wide, but the story seems legit!

The building appears to get wider: from 3 tiles wide at the front door up to 7 tiles wide in that kitchen.

Yeah if you look at the first picture on the article you can see both sides of the house as it goes back. That building must get quite a bit wider by the end.

My desk is 3" wide. None of those pictures look that thin.

Jake, the only thing that spared my monitor from a beer-dampened fate, was the fact that I'd just gulped the last of it down as the page was loading! *ROFLMAO!*
