Sinking a $63,000 Mercedes for Art.

Photographer Michael Muller sank a $63,000 2007 Mercedes GL450 in a giant water tank in the name of art (and publicity!) as part of a project titled "Quiet" which includes photos of people and things submerged in water.

    I bet it’s for the publicity… and it worked! From the photo, it looks like it could have easily been done with Photoshop.

    Let’s say it’s real … art is about ART/passion/ideals/vision … monetary issues do not come into play (at least on the PURIST level).
