This really is a great site, I’m actually surprised that it hasn’t shown up on neatorama before as it’s quite old. A very educational and entertaining resource for people whose taste in music leans towards the electronic. The abundant sound samples are probably the best feature (now I definitely know that I’ll never go to a speedcore or swedish techno event). It even has a wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishkur%27s_guide

Sadly, as many have debated on electronic music websites across the world, many of the facts and descriptions of genres are hopelessly inaccurate. Some people even suggest it is written as a comedy piece.
