Took me a while, but I finally see the cleverness of the BBC World map-themed advertisements (this one above is the easiest to figure out), drawn by Karen Minot.

    I’ve seen these blogged elsewhere and didnt get it, now i’ve got it. DataWhat if youre trying to figure out which countries these are you’re looking too closely. Step back.
