Ethan Winer’s A Cello Rondo.

By Alex in Music, Video Clips on Jun 10, 2006 at 2:29 pm

Ethan Winer spent hundreds of hours on this project to write and record a pop tune using nothing but cellos. That’s right – nothing but cellos – the entire music was played with just one instrument. There are 37 separate cello parts recorded on 23 tracks. Simply amazing. You’ve got to see it.

I didn’t get the symbolism of the black cat with the halo over its head.

I believe the cat was his and, until it died, has been with him since he started recording years ago. So he put the cat with the halo as a tribute. I recall reading something about that in his website.

    That man is pure genius!
I hope this tune becomes famous worldwide! Well done sir! (sorry to hear about the cat)
