Byron sent me this photo of a two-tailed lizard found in his home in Orlando, Florida (Thanks Byron!).

I just found a two-tailed lizard that looks just like this in MS. What did he do with it?

Just found two of these two-tailed lizards living in our back yard around an old rotten tree stump. One seems to have a redish head while the other is a brownish color all over. What are these lizards named?
We took pictures of the one we could see the best.

Thats actually really common. It happens when the lizard tries to lose its tail (in defense) and doesnt do it completely. Due to this, it grows a new tail while the other one is still partially attached. A friend of mine did an experiment on one to confirm this theory, he ended up with an 8-tailed lizard!
