This Lego contraption can throw a CD disc at such high speed that it would break apart upon impact.

    once a friend of mine threw a cd at my head. I ducked out of the way at the last second and it shattered upon impact with the living room window. Breaking cd's by throwing is not an easy task, and it's messy...
