    It’s crazy isn’t it! Look a little closer and you’ll notice the whole town isn’t covered, just the areas where the wind blew water off the lake.

    I, for one, am glad that I live in sunny and warm SoCal (although a couple of weeks ago, I woke up to ice on my roof! That cold night was nothing compared to Versoix, Switzerland.)

    Ir’s not so much the cold as the water that causes freezing like that. Actually, it can’t be too cold or the lake would have frozen over, and no water would fly to ground to build the ice up like that. Probably the temperature is only just below freezing, and this is somewhere at the beginning of the winter season since the lake is still open. Must’ve been quite some wind though.
