Marc Quinn's Preserved Garden.

By Alex in Arts & Crafts, Home & Garden on Dec 14, 2005 at 1:04 am

Marc Quinn’s Garden is a real botanical garden full of flowers in full bloom from around the world. About 1,000 species of flowers are immersed in 25 tons of liquid silicone and frozen at -80° celcius, so they’ll (hopefully) last forever. Link (via Fawn Jotters)

Beautiful. I hope that the refrigeration equipment keeping them at -80°C never fails, though...
