Some bosses get really upset when their employees show up late for work, coming down on them hard like an ogre swinging a giant club at their head in an attempt to beat promptness into them.
Thankfully geeky bosses generally aren't quite so fearsome or strict about employee tardiness, and as this comic from The Underfold shows, geeky bosses are also easily distracted by polyhedral dice rolls...
Whether you have way too much work to do to sit around watching videos, have ADHD when you're online or you just appreciate fun sized stuff you probably enjoy YouTube videos that are short and sweet.
60 seconds seems to be the sweet spot, the perfect length to ensure your video has enough content to satisfy yet can easily be watched during a break, because watching a bunch of minute-long videos is like snack time for your eyeballs.
Whether you're looking for a funny clip from a TV show, a prank video, or a darling little documentary about a tiny snek the ever-growing library of videos on YouTube has hundreds of minutes of fun waiting for you.
Dungeons & Dragons is the most popular tabletop roleplaying game of all time, but it's also just like every other RPG ever made in that it can be both fun and frustratingly not so fun to play.
Playing a RPG for too long can leave players feeling inspired yet unmotivated to do anything else in life but game, like a drug that takes you to the fantasy land where you left your heart.
When things get crazy intense and your stress level shoots through the roof your heart feels like it's going to pound right out of your chest and you become short of breath, the lack of oxygen contributing to your freak out.
So if you learn to control your breathing in times of major stress and anxiety you can calm down faster and keep a cool head when everyone around you is falling apart, like soldiers do when they use tactical breathing to stay calm in combat.
Clinical psychologist Belisa Vranich demonstrates this breathing technique used by the military in this Tech Insider video- she's the author of Breathe: The Simple, Revolutionary 14-Day Program to Improve your Mental and Physical Health so she knows a thing or two about how breathing techniques can better your life.
It's not uncommon for women to give out a fake phone number when a guy they find creepy, repulsive or otherwise undesirable asks them for their number, which is their way of giving a creepy guy the brush off.
Unfortunately most fake numbers reach real people or places and a polite "sorry, wrong number", which just leaves the guy thinking the girl accidentally wrote the number down wrong and doesn't really teach them anything.
So The Mary Sue took matters into their own hands and created a hotline number women can give out to creepos so they'll get what's coming to them- a lesson in respecting women.
The phone number to The Mary Sue's Rejection Hotline is (646) 926-6614, and when somebody calls the number they're greeted with the message above.
And since so many people prefer to text these days they even have a text reply message set up to send this message to any sleazebucket who texts the number, set to deliver the message one hour after they text.
So stop giving those sleazebags the number to your local Pizza Hut and start giving them a number that will (hopefully) teach them a valuable lesson about coming on strong to somebody who is obviously not interested.
Infographics often focus on one specific topic, and their creators rarely try to expand on this topic too much because they don't have a whole lot of space to work with.
But seeing as how Information Is Beautiful founder David McCandless is a guy who's passionate about data and the visualization of information he had to push the limits- by debunking 52 common myths with one info-packed infographic.
So if you're looking for a one-sheet way to shut down stupid arguments then save a copy of David's Common MythConceptions infographic and take it with you wherever you go!
Wonder Woman has gone through a few costume redesigns over the years but she keeps coming back to some form of armor, because she's a warrior through and through.
And if she starred in a title that took place n the Middle Ages she would probably sport an armored costume that looks like this amazing suit of battle armor created by Samuel Lee from Prince Armory.
It's got her signature colors, it's got the flair that makes it worthy of an Amazon princess and it actually looks like it would protect her in combat, unlike those midriff and mini skirt numbers other supergals wear.
Toddlers typically aren't self conscious, or fashion conscious for that matter, but they do make great models because they're adorable and they'll pose for photos all day long if you make the shoot into a game.
But eighteen-month-old Augie Polites ain't playin' no games when it comes to modeling, and he's already giving his famous model uncle Aristotle Polites a run for his money.

Little Augie may not have ripped abs, sexy stubble or paychecks from modeling gigs like his uncle, but thanks to his mom's Instagram account @babyandthebody he's about to become more internet famous than his uncle will ever be!
Fitted sheets are now and forever a pain in the butt to fold properly, and depending on how OCD you get about properly folding your sheets they're either a minor annoyance or the imperfectly folded sheets that keep you up at night.
But as these videos from Living On A Dime will show you they needn't be such a pain to fold, you just need to learn the trick to properly folding those stretchy suckers so they fit in with the rest of your bedding.
Living On A Dime reveals the secret behind folding both a regular fitted sheet and the dreaded fitted sheet with elastic, so now your laundry can be as square as you are!
Most zip lines are set up so the rider (zipper?) gets a visual thrill while they slide down the line, a thrill that often involves being really high above the ground or making the rider think they're about to hit something while they ride.
But the zip line in this video didn't have any sort of thrill ride element put into it, so an alligator decided to spice things up a bit by snapping at the rider as she zipped by.
Hot and sexy Halloween costumes are pretty much the opposite of flame retardant and fire safe, so don't go taking the role you play on Halloween too seriously when you're showing all that skin.
Many 80s cartoons were created in a sort of ratings gray area because the rules of what kids should and shoudn't see in a cartoon were being rewritten and redefined.
And while topics like death, drugs and the Satanic Panic were considered too dark for a G audience in the 90s they were just fine for kids watching The Smurfs and the Care Bears in the 80s.
In the Care Bears Movie II a girl named Christy sells her soul to Dark Heart the shape-shifting demon so she can be better at sports, which seems pretty damn dark for a Care Bears storyline.
But then the scene takes an even darker turn when Dark Heart leaves Christy for dead, the Care Bears unable to revive her without help from the audience, who were probably in tears since they thought the girl was dead.
The Smurfs had a similarly Satanic-themed episode that deals with the Christmas Stranger, a sinister guy who buys two orphan kids from Gargamel to use in an evil ritual.
The episode also had a similar "don't trust strangers" theme and the Smurfs use the power of love and hope (and singing) to defeat the Stranger.
Spermatozoa are one half of the equation that equals human life, and those squirmy little swimmers play an important role in the survival of humanity by defying the odds and fertilizing eggs.
You already know the bit about how they latch on to an egg and try to break through, but did you know the woman's body creates cervical mucus, which helps sperm live for three to five days? Of course you did!
You're probably also aware that every ejaculation contains around 40 million to 2 billion individual sperm, but did you know sperm is only about 5% of the ejaculated fluid? The rest is seminal fluid which contains acids, fructose and lipids.
Sperm has been working perfectly for us since the very beginning, so there's no reason for us to use our scientifical powers on seminal fluid except when we want to resurrect dead sperm:
Doctors have successfully created an embryo using semen that was no longer living. They extracted the DNA from the sperm and injected it into the egg to create life.
The people in these pics are lucky they don't live in the U.S., because if they did they'd probably get mobbed by adoring fans wherever they go!
Lucky for them George Clooney isn't a household name in Turkey, and while Hugh Laurie is huge in the U.S. and merry old England people are all like "Hugh who?" in Russia.
But people all around the world know the name and face of former U.S. President Barack Obama, so this guy from Indonesia must get hit up for autographs and selfies wherever he goes!
Sorry buddy, Barack has got you beat by a mile in the looks department, but Britney Spears' Macedonian doppleganger looks like she just stepped out of a cloning chamber- and may soon start touring in place of the pop singer. They can call it the Twice As Crazy tour!
The internet comes up with really strange names for stuff, but calling silly general audience jokes "dad jokes" is a pretty fitting description, since they're the kind of jokes a dad would share with his kid.
A post shared by DaveTheDadJokes (@davethedadjokes) on Oct 14, 2017 at 7:02am PDT
You could also call them kiddie jokes, mom jokes, uncle jokes, aunt jokes, or brother or sister jokes for that matter, but I guess with all the dad bod, dad hat and dad hack trends online calling them dad jokes just made sense.
