The Amazing Origami Automatic Stroller

(YouTube Link)

Anyone who has dealt with collapsing and reopening a baby stroller knows it can be a real pain. And when you're a parent trying to juggle kids, bags of baby gear and your shopping, the last thing you want to do is monkey around with a stroller that just won't collapse properly.

The 4Moms company has created the solution to this problem: a stroller that collapses and reopens itself with the touch of a button. Watch the product demonstration video and decide for yourself if it's worth the $849 price tag.

Wear The Dovahkiin Helmet And Be Awesome

Are you tired of returning to the real world, after epic length Elder Scrolls: Skyrim gaming sessions, without some way to show the world just how obsessed you are with the game? Well then, this fleece Dovahkiin helmet must be yours! Just don't try to use it as an actual piece of battle armor, or you're in for a massive headache.

Sculptures Made From Sheets Of Paper

These fabulously detailed paper artworks by Peter Callesen create form with negative space, style from their almost generic non-style, and the frame is often used as a sort of mini stage for the scene. It's amazing what people are doing with paper these days!

This Kung Fu Flick Is Full Of WTF Moments

(YouTube Link)

The strangeness of the Kung Fu film known as "Demon of the Lute" goes well beyond language barriers and cultural idioms. This movie is downright nutty, even the YouTube description sounds crazy:

Bear witness to Yuan Fei's heroic struggle against the soulless ginger, Red Haired Evil, and his logic-defying pal, Eagle Man. Shazam!

Isn't it nice to get a little craziness mixed in with our martial arts action once in a while? I, for one, love the Red Haired Evil's magnetic personality, and to say he's having a bad hair day is an understatement.

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Tauntaun

This is what the Empire Strikes Back would have looked like if it was released by stop motion animation pioneers Rankin Bass. The only thing I don't like about this illustration is the thought of Rudolph the Tauntaun getting gutted by Hermey/Han Solo and used as a meat sleeping bag, but at least he comes with a built-in nightlight!

Vintage Radios Turned Into IPod Docks

In a delightfully stylish blend of old tech and new, Devin Ward has discovered the charm and simplicity of repurposing vintage radios for use as IPod docks. So if you wanna swank up your pad, without sacrificing the convenience of having many gigabytes of music at your fingertips, then these retro styled beauties might be just the thing.

Urinal Video Games Are A Ridiculous Reality

This urinal video game allows you to control a slalom skier via *ahem* your stream, as you try to reach the finish line before you're finished emptying your bladder. And while this might sound like fun after lifting a few pints, I can't imagine it's going to last long in the typical men's bathroom, what with all the graffiti artists and *ahem* wetness everywhere.

OMFG Mini Figures Channel The Power of MUSCLE

As a kid growing up in the 1980s, I loved me some M.U.S.C.L.E. Men toys! These kooky little mini figures were superbly sculpted, featured some far out character designs, and they were the perfect size to launch from a slingshot.

Now, twenty odd years later,  October Toys' has released a new line called "OMFG Mini Figures" which faithfully channels the charm and style of the original M.U.S.C.L.E. toys, and just might incite the same kind of collector's mania. Check out these super sculpts, in various Pantone colors, at the link below.

A Giant Christmas Tree Made Out Of LEGOs

This 33 foot tall LEGO Christmas tree was unveiled last week in London's St. Pancras International Station. It's made out of 600,000 bricks, features ornaments made out of LEGOs and took over two months to build. Hopefully the children who visit the station won't be tempted to take the towering plastic tree apart!

This Serbian Textbook Is Raising Arizona

Why are Nic Cage, Holly Hunter and the baby from the 1987 movie Raising Arizona on the cover of this Serbian biology textbook? Your guess is as good as mine, but I'd be willing to bet this image wasn't used with the studio's permission!

Accordion Version Of Super Mario Bros. Theme Song

(YouTube Link)

After hearing this Bulgarian accordionist version of the Super Mario Bros. theme song, i'm starting to rethink Mario's heritage. Maybe he spent some time in Bulgaria as a kid, or he has a Bulgarian doppelganger, because this song sounds so Mario!

Some Of The Best Worst Album Covers Ever

Tastes change from decade to decade, but I can't imagine that the album covers in this gallery were ever considered to be very cool. These are the album covers your Polka loving uncle might have owned in the 1970s, with covers cheesy lovable enough to overshadow whatever terrible music is pressed onto the record.

Etch A Sketch X NES Gamepad Hack

(YouTube Link)

If you ever wanted finer control over your Etch-A-Sketch lines, then you may want to consider splicing in a NES controller! Here's the process as described by Alpinedelta32, the creator of this brilliant mod:

I connected the etch-a-sketch knobs to stepper motors, which are then controlled by an Arduino microcontroller. The Arduino program I wrote takes signals from the NES controller and sends them as stepper motor control instructions.

Low tech toys meets high tech mod, this is what geeks do with their toys when they grow up!
