Pikachu Enhanced By The Power Of Gundam

How do you make a tough little critter like Pikachu even tougher? Add Gundam technology and watch him soar!

This mecha enhanced version of the pint sized furry lightning generator is probably illegal to use in most battle arenas, but when Team Rocket comes to town you'll be glad Gundamchu is on your side.

Portraits Of 38 Badasses Drawn On Whiteboard Shirt

(YouTube Link)

Okay, I have to get my hands on one of these awesome whiteboard shirts! However, I'm guessing it's pretty hard to draw upside down, at least until your brain gets used to it.

Become a master like Phil Hansen, who quickly sketches 38 different portraits of cinematic badasses on his shirt, and you too can have the fame and critical acclaim afforded to those who keep the interwebs entertained. Yay for creativity!

Devilishly Cool Diablo III Animated Short

(YouTube Link)

This here's a brand spanking new animated short based on Blizzard's upcoming video game Diablo III, and it's directed by Peter Chung (of Aeon Flux fame) and animated by Titmouse (of Metalocalypse and Venture Bros. fame)!!

It's a bloody, action packed short that left me longing to watch a Diablo animated series. Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for some epic gaming sessions when the game is released next week.

A Rainbow Made Out Of Toy Cars

This vibrant rainbow circle was created by artist David Waller, who rounded up 6,000 toy cars he's collected since childhood and arranged them into rings of color, reminiscent of an OCD sufferer's childhood memory.

Hit the jump to see a fun close-up shot that looks like a traffic jam in Toyland, and a contrasting shot of the cars lined up in no particular order of color. *gasp*

DIY Gramophone Made Of Paper And Plywood

Jon Holmgeirsson from the Iceland Academy Of The Arts created this nifty little paper and plywood gramophone, which brings that raw sound back to your vinyl collection.

Powered by plugging it in to a wall outlet, or via 9 volt battery when you're on the go, this clever contraption takes about an hour to put together, but the warmth and antiquated feel of the natural materials will last a lifetime.

Jon plans on releasing his paper gramophone to the public in the near future, so I've added it to my NEED list and I'm waiting patiently to get my hands on one and become the envy of my fellow vinylphiles.

Terrifying Bento Boxes Too Creepy To Eat

Don't you hate it when you lose your appetite because your lunch looks like it wants to eat you?!

It takes a lot of guts to chow down on these horrifying bento boxes, and having an affinity for food shaped like internal organs doesn't hurt.

I wonder what they used to make that nasty looking tongue?

Company Offers Pet Mummification Service

Salt Lake City is known for many things-a deep connection to Mormonism, the 2002 Winter Olympics, their NBA team the Utah Jazz, and now as the home of pet mummification company Summum.

Summum offers a unique service to grieving pet owners-mummification of your dead pet via traditional methods, so you can bring home a bit of ancient Egypt without having to walk funny or learn how to read hieroglyphics.

It costs tens of thousands of dollars (from $6k to $128k according to the website) and takes four to six months to complete the process, but isn't it worth all that to know that your beloved pet's corpse is now permanently encased in a nifty looking statue?

Seattle's Real Life Super Villain Rex Velvet

(YouTube Link)

Rex Velvet, the self proclaimed "people's villain", is coming to take Seattle by storm, hoping to single-handedly abolish the Rain City Superhero Movement and force Phoenix Jones into retirement.

He's part vaudeville showman, part sicko, and his introduction video reveals that this dapper man with a dark plan will surely make his mark on the city of Seattle.

But will Phoenix Jones get around to meeting this shadowy character before the police bring the whole superhero scene to a grinding halt?

Princess Peach Cleans Up The Mushroom Kingdom

(YouTube Link)

Princess Peach stopped smelling the roses long enough to institute sweeping reforms throughout the  Mushroom Kingdom, which have been set to music and accompanied by animation that looks like it was drawn by a nervous Koopa.

It's more fun than having a plumber jump on your head, and it's so cute and catchy that the tune will lurk around inside your head like a Shy Guy stalking around Bowser's castle!

Real Life Anime Portraits Are Really Creepy

Anime girls may look cute in the cartoons, with their big, bright eyes and pinched features, but translating them to real life makes them just plain creepy.

If you see a girl that looks like this coming your way, eyes wide open and mouth agape, you'd better make a break for it because she may be after your soul!

Photographer Chris Scarborough apparently likes the look of the anime ladies, so he's created an entire series of manipulated photos showing what they might look like in real life. All I can say about this series is AAAAGGGGHHHH!!

Awesome Star Fox Intro Redux

(YouTube Link)

If you think of yourself as a serious gamer, yet you've never played the 1993 Super Nintendo classic Star Fox then you owe it to yourself to hunt down the emulator ROM and give it a whirl because it is an awesome gaming experience.

Youtuber Rickonami is obviously a fan of Star Fox, since he an a few friends created this shiny new intro sequence as a tribute to the game's greatness, complete with updated 3d models and visual effects.

Dogs That Resemble The Cast Of The Avengers

With Avengers fever sweeping through movie theaters across the globe, it's time for yet another Avengers related post-now with cute side-by-side comparisons!

Here are eight dogs that resemble the cast of The Avengers and they're pretty much spot on, especially the cocker spaniel-Scarlett Johansson resemblance. Is there a sequel with an all canine cast in the works?

Bizarre Street Art Promotion For Goodwill

These spooky figures, holding a note with their faces obscured, are part of a strange street art advertising campaign by Red Agency for Goodwill stores, to illustrate that Goodwill is the best place to buy costumes.

The slogan is "Be Anything This Halloween", but I don't think I'll be going to this year's Halloween bash dressed as a dumpster.

Still, as far as advertising campaigns are concerned, this is a rather creative and surreal campaign, and it would be fun to spot these odd stickers all over town.

This Candy Bicycle Looks Like A Sweet Ride

This candy covered Huffy bike by Britta Hope looks like a dream come true for a sugarholic like me!

It's a good thing there's a real bike under all that candy, because I'd probably end up eating an entire wheel, or taking a big old bite out of the frame and then I'd end up without a set of wheels.

Britta clearly understands the needs of those of us with an insatiable appetite for sweets, since she intended the bike to be a cupcake delivery vehicle. Why don't we have those in real life?!

Nickelodeon Characters Dressed As The Avengers

Your favorite Nickelodeon characters get serious as they don the battle gear worn by Earth's mightiest heroes, The Avengers!

I guess Dennis Culver, the artist behind this wacky animation mashup, is as excited about The Avengers movie as the rest of the interwebs. And his SpongeThor SquareGirdle really put a smile on my face.

Nicktoons pretending to be Marvel superheroes would be awesome to see in an animated form, too bad the legal conflicts between the two entertainment juggernauts would prevent this fun mashup from ever being made. A geek can dream, can't he?!
