Where there's commuting and lots of traffic there's road rage, which erupts into violence when drivers who simply can't contain their disdain for the way other people drive get out of the car ready for battle.

Fist fights, yelling and verbal threats are all normal elements of a road rage eruption, but I don't remember the last time I saw a scrapper swinging a big ol' wooden pole around like Casey at the bat. (Video is NSFW)

This road rage incident took place in Austin, Texas, where some folks are living by Teddy Roosevelt's saying "speak softly but carry a big stick"... but without the speak softly part.

Since the big guy with the even bigger stick seems hell bent on showing off his swordsmanship skills it's only natural that he received the lightsaber remix treatment:

It's far more common for parents to give their kid an interesting or unusual name these days, and once celebrities started naming their kids Apple or Seargeoh or Destry even more parents started to follow suit.

But I am a child of the 80s, and the name Zeon was about as strange as they come to all the kids and teachers at school back then, which made me a person of interest.

Whether the interest was what my name meant, where my name came from, or if it had any national origins it didn't matter, because ultimately it all made me feel weird about telling people my name.

However, I grew to appreciate my name, as did some of the people who have Tweeted about their experiences living with an unusual name, using the hashtag #growingupwithmyname.

Of course, there are those with seemingly normal names who have it worse than others...

The Street Sharks arrived at the end of the mutant animal craze started by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and yet their character designs had just as much appeal and longevity as the TMNT.

Many budding artists watched the animated TV show and played with the toys only to have their later artwork inspired by those gnarly shark-human hybrids.

As it turns out a budding actor had his life changed by the Street Sharks too- Vin Diesel, who proudly demonstrated Street Shark toys at Toy Fair in 1994, back before he became Fast, Furious or Chronicled.

This video was filmed four years before Vin appeared in Saving Private Ryan and seven years before The Fast And The Furious, and it made me realize that Vin the nerd is way cooler than Diesel the furious.

Cats and other critters make photobombing look totally cool, but birds somehow manage to make the whole thing look like it's our fault they're in our shot.

They stare at us like we're in their way, sometimes captivated by the shiny lens or the flash but mostly they're just there, in the way of yet another photo with that dumb look on their face.

But that's what makes the bird photobomb such a special experience- they could fly away in an instant but they've chosen to satisfy their curiosity about humans by ruining our shots.

Ruining is really the wrong word, actually a bird photobomb is quite the opposite, and so long as they don't break our lenses or peck at our heads birds can guest star in our photos anytime!

Tired of patrolling the wasteland, battling super mutants and bands of raiders, and fed up with helping establish new settlements for people who didn't really appreciate his actions, the Lone Wanderer decided to start a family and sit at home for the rest of his life. But things quickly became boring when he stayed indoors all day, so he looked to his trusty Pip-Boy for help. The Pip-Boy suggested he find a hobby to keep him busy, but hobbies involving weaponry and violence were out so he had to look elsewhere for entertainment. Digging around the ruins of his new home he found an old board game called Settlers of Catan, a game played by 2-4 people that involved rolling dice, collecting crops and settling a new civilization full of people who couldn't send him on pointless quests...it was perfect!
