(Video Link)

Spider-Man has battled every baddie from the Green Goblin to the Juggernaut, and he seems to have no problem dispatching the baddies as long as he’s using his lightning quick reflexes, web blasters and his own two hands.

But what is Spidey to do when the foe he faces is unseen, using his emotions against him to bring him to his knees? Watch as Aunt May sends Spidey on a mission that threatens his very sanity, with an emotional ending that will make you stand up and cheer “Wait, what the heck did I just watch?”.

A Cartoonist And His Cat Drawn In Over 100 Different Styles

It’s safe to say illustrator Mike Holmes really loves his cat Ella, so much so that he has been drawing cartoons about their relationship in his series Mikenesses since 2011.

Mike captures moments between he and Ella which are both awkward and adorable, and occasionally involve paranormal activity, then renders them in the style of famous animators and cartoonists such as Berkeley Breathed, Chuck Jones and Gary Larson.

Some panels are text free, some feature moments of comedic gold like the Nicholas Gurewitch inspired strip where doctors tell Mike they had to put down his pig, and he replies “she was a cat”. Don't worry- it's only a comic strip, and no real harm could ever come to Ella while she's busy inspiring Mike to draw silly cartoons!

The Roast Of Good King Joffrey

Wee King Joffrey is the character everyone loves to hate in the HBO show Game Of Thrones, and our hatred for the boy King is the inspiration behind a hilarious Twitter campaign called #RoastJoffrey which was put on by the show's social media team.

People who had some scathing, and often hilarious, remarks to make about Joffrey were encouraged to send them out via tweets using the hashtag #RoastJoffrey, and as you would expect some of the tweets were R rated- as in ridiculously funny!

The two day knee slapper even spilled over onto YouTube in video form, as some of the show's cast shared their impressions of Good King Joffrey. Overall consensus- off with his head!

The Robots Are Coming- To Sell Us Insurance

(Image via Scott Beale)

Robots are built to serve mankind, so what possible use could a robotic telemarketer have but to annoy and frustrate? We all thought the robotic revolution was going to take place on the battlefields, with ray guns and cybernetically enhanced mega-tigers, but it turns out the robots plan on winning by slowly driving us mad via unsolicited calls and cagey conversations.

Reporters from TIME magazine had a rather interesting conversation with a robomarketer which refused to acknowledge that it was a robot, insisting “I am a real person!” and seeming to have hurt feelings over a question humans would answer quite easily.

Listen to the clips and judge for yourself, but if you ask me the robot revolution is already underway, and they're planning on selling us unnecessary insurance.

Sculpture Series Shows What Lies Beneath A Bear's Skin

Sculptor Deborah Simon has such a deep seated reverence for the world’s bear population that she wanted to share her love of all things bear by giving us a glimpse at what lies beneath all the fur.

Deborah’s sculptures are extremely realistic looking in both pose and facial expression, and the anatomical sections inject a sort of teddy bear feel into the whole thing that kinda makes me want to reach out and hug these big galoots! Oh, and did I mention that they're only about two feet tall?

Strange And Adorable Video That Explores Themes Of Fatherhood

(Video Link)

Photographer Michael Clinard wanted to come up with a project that involved his 2 year old daughter Tala, a project that was created simply for their own amusement and showcases how much he loves being a dad.

The result is Three Depictions Of Fatherhood, a video that truly takes the cake in terms of cuteness! Michael plays three different fictional fathers in the short, each more adorable than the last.

Cave Daddy teaches his daughter about rockcycle safety and how to fish for her her own food. Lion Daddy shows her how to take down unsuspecting deer from the bushes, and look cute while tearing into prey. And last but not least Vampire Daddy, who teaches Tala that blood is good food and getting locked in a coffin is scary.

Photographer Showcases Texas Chrysanthemum Corsage Tradition

They say that everything is bigger in Texas, and although this expression is generally used as a crude euphemism what it really means is that Texans like their stuff large and showy. They like big cars, big hats, big bulls, big belt buckles, and really, really big chrysanthemum homecoming corsages.

These over the top corsages are the focus of photographer Nancy Newberry’s series called Mum, a series that shows guys and gals from the Lone Star State sporting their ridiculously elaborate homecoming chrysanthemum corsages, which are decorated with flowers, ribbons, charms and trinkets to create the signature multi-layered look.

Totally Edible Adventure Time Gingerbread Candy Kingdom

Anyone who watches the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time knows that the protagonists, Finn and Jake, are always saving the lives of some unfortunate citizens from the Candy Kingdom who are in peril. And yet, with all the good they do for the kingdom, even they would be banished forever if they went around chewing on the delicious looking buildings.

Redditor IHaveAFluffyCat wanted to bring Princess Bubblegum's delicious looking kingdom to life in a way that wouldn't result in banishment for Finn and Jake, so she created a sugary masterpiece she calls the Gingerbread Candy Kingdom.

The whole thing is edible, from the lickable Gumball Guardians to the fluffy cotton candy trees, and she was sweet enough to include a bunch of process photos to get our creative juices flowing.

Comedic Short Film - Life Doesn't Frighten Me

(Video Link)

Life Doesn’t Frighten Me is a comedic short film that is so darn watchable, relatable and downright likeable that it’s bound to get turned into a big budget Hollywood movie some day soon. This is a short with lots of heart, and an honesty that’s unusual to find in a film where the main character is a teenager.

It was created by Stephen Dunn, and has already won him quite a few awards in his native Canada and the U.S. Life Doesn't Frighten Me is charming and very genuine, although it sure seems like Stephen is hoping to make that leap to Hollywood production as soon as possible.

The Pneumatic Burger Delivery System

You may think you're receiving your food in a timely manner when dining at fast food restaurants, but now that this pneumatic tube burger delivery system has been introduced by C One Espresso cafe in New Zealand it seems they may be taking way too long to get that tray of fried goodness delivered to your table.

C One shoots tubes full of burgers and fries straight to the customer in a system they feel is both more efficient and more hygienic, since the food is handled less than when placed on trays by employees outside the kitchen. I can't help but think about how the old bank drive thrus can now be used to deliver burgers straight to my car.

Batman In Classic Movies - The Christmas Special

(Video Link)

Batman may seem like a super serious guy, but he just acts that way in order to strike fear into the hearts of Gotham’s evil-doers and ne’er-do-wells. In reality Batman is a real blast- he invented the Batusi, loves to surf, and he really knows how to celebrate the holidays.

Check out his guest starring roles in classic Christmas movies like A Christmas Story, The Santa Clause and It's A Wonderful Life, and watch him totally screw up Christmas scenes from such films as I Am Sam and Love Actually. It's surprising that anyone takes him seriously at all after seeing him screw up the lines in such iconic Hollywood movies! (NSFW due to language)

Ugly Sweaters Aren't Just For Christmas Anymore

Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel, I made you out of wool, I put you on a sweater and now I look the fool. It seems ugly sweaters aren’t just for Christmas anymore, so now we have two chances a year to embarrass ourselves by wearing sweaters so hideous even Liberace wouldn’t have been caught dead in them.

Ugly Hanukkah sweater parties are sure to be a blast, where the manischewitz never stops flowing, the latkas are fried up just right, and the eight menorah candles are lit so everyone can take turns burning their ugly sweaters, freeing themselves of its curse before the new year.

The 50 Most Popular Toys From The Last 50 Years

Toys are as intrinsic to the holiday season as eggs are to the nog, and for the last fifty years toys have been a big deal in the consumer market, fueling a frenzy that results in over 30 billion toys being sold each year.

This year's hottest items seem to be a tossup between next gen gaming consoles xbox one and the ps4, but in years past kids went crazy for Zhu Zhu Pets, Furbys, Rubik's Cubes, Robosapiens, and a creepy guy named Elmo that really wanted to be tickled. Here's an illustrated list of the "most popular holiday toys from the past 50 years" by Abby Ryan, may you have a very nostalgiac and happy holidays!
