Our grade school had a war surplus one and even though it was a bit worn, a lunch lady could turn turn out thirty PB&J sandwiches, cut in half with the crusts cut off in about twenty minutes. A really skilled operator could turn out enough fancy finger sandwiches in a hour for garden parties or tea in the officers mess.
