Trina Miller's Comments

I'm very sorry about your husband.
This story doesn't add up in so many ways. In addition to being able to rent a scooter or wheelchair at the Disney parks, the other thing is that having one does not allow you to skip every line. Many lines can accommodate a wheelchair or scooter and the disabled person waits in the regular line. Disney also offers their own VIP guide service for about $350 per hour. Just use that if you really have money to burn (which is how the people in this story were characterized).

This makes no sense. You can rent a scooter or wheelchair at Disney for $50 or less per day. There is no verification of disability to do this. If you are willing to be nefarious, just pretend to be disabled and ride around in a scooter yourself all day.
