I was wondering how it would be had they actually used real sod instead of that astroturf. It would smell nice after mowing it, I suppose. Sooo many wrong things in one house.
They forgot to remove the dark blue painter's tape covering all the molding on the walls and doorways!I would spend tons of money repainting the walls and ceilings a white or off white color, maybe a light gray. The floors are very pretty without all that blue paint. But the rooms are so big they don't give off a cozy "I'm home!" vibe. More like "Hello? Is anyone there?" vibe. Definitely not worth 3 million when you add up all the repair bills. And that lawn?! sheesh
I like Mr Del Toro's movies but - as a boomer, perhaps? - I grow weary of trying to watch movies that are so dark that I can't really make out what's going on in some scenes and I cannot appreciate the sets and scenery when it's so dark. I understand that darkness creates a spooky atmosphere but come on! 2 or 3 shades lighter might make all the difference for some movies.
Amazing. How did this movie ever get made? Those songs are tuneless. No melody that sticks in your head unless it's been played so many times that you can identify it as a 'song'. sheesh
Years ago I had read an article about ships gone down in the Great Lakes and how the water was so cold that bodies did not decay. There had been reports of scuba divers investigating wrecks where they found the sailors still inside the ships. They stated that it was the eeriest thing they had ever found.
I'm expecting some sort of Squid Games knock off. I guess it's cheaper to do a reboot than to use a brand new story. It would be so refreshing to watch a movie that's an original story because there are so many people writing books and a lot of their stories are worth watching. And I am weary of all of those comic book action heroes. Perhaps it's time to put the spandex away for a few decades and start treating viewers as though their IQs are higher than a 3rd grader?
