"President Roosevelt appointed Robert H. Jackson, "arguably the most accomplished forgotten man of the 20th century," as the lead prosecutor for the US."
Is this correct? Roosevelt died before the war ended. Did you mean Truman appointed Jackson?

Instead of blackened egg whites why not lightly crack the hard boiled egg shells and leave them to soak in colored water - dark blue or another dark dye for a couple of hours. The whites will have the appearance of spider webbing. I'd prefer using food coloring instead of black ash And I think adding a good powdered curry to the cooked egg yolks would taste great.

How about - pimple popping pythons or seersucking herpes horses or blood drooling dung beetles or screaming orange trumpelephants? The last one is truly scary, IMO.

My father loved appliances, new gadgets and such. One year when transistor radios came out my dad bought me one for Christmas. Armed with a fresh set of batteries I was holding my radio in my hand listening to music with the earplug in so as not to make noise. My dad saw me holding the silent radio and grabbed it from my hand and started turning the dials trying to hear it play. Before I had time to react he turned the volume all the way up which blasted the noise directly into my ear canal. It actually broke the hammer in my inner ear. So now you know how I am deaf in one ear.

I have a rescue dog. She bonded to me much to much. She's desperate to be near me all the time and when I leave to do errands she howls non stop until I return. I have informed my husband that should I die before she does then he must let her see my body so she will know I am gone. Otherwise she will fret herself to death. That is a cruelty I will not wish on my babydog.

I've thought about immortality before. Vampires are the closest thing to immortality (not counting Jesus' resurrection). I think the downside to immortality is never getting rid of your thoughts. Will you sleep? Can you sleep? Always 'on', never getting to the end of your chapter. Never seeing the after-life (if there is one) and reconnecting with loved ones long passed. Always being the same in your head I think would drive you to insanity. No, if I would be the only immortal then I'll pass. Perhaps if there were more immortals 'life' would be tolerable

Miss C could you please tell me why my 38,000 points have evaporated? You site is now telling me I have 500 points! I had planned to use my points this Friday to purchase 2 t-shirts for my son. I think my points disappearing is maddening. Could you explain to me where my points went? It took me a long time to get this many points. Many comments were made to earn them. I hope you can tell me what's going on. Thanks, sandy
