In England's Harrods store all cashiers had a nice tall comfy stool to sit on while ringing up one's purchases. Wish they would do this in the US. Less back and foot complaints, IMO.

Rogers is apparently the sticking point. Try doing this experiment again when he's gone on vacation? Speaking from experience angelic choirs are quite shy...

This was around Christmas holiday season. My brother in law, when he was 2+ yrs old, had trouble breathing. It got so bad that his mom took him to the doctor's office. The dr examined his nasal cavity and pulled out a red plastic bead that came from a holiday decoration. He then pulled out another bead and another. The grand total was 26 plastic beads in his nose. Obviously, this was a story happily shared every year during our holiday get togethers.

I'm Scottish and we Scots revere spiders. When I was pregnant with my 2nd child we were living in an apartment that must have been built on a giant carpenter ant hill. They hung around the bathroom sink and floor and I wasn't going to use pesticides to kill them. Well, one day there was a spider under the sink hanging on the drainage pipe. She snacked on those ants daily, problem solved. One day she got really big and was soon going to lay a ball of babies under the sink. My friend came to visit and was in our bathroom for the longest time. When she emerged she crowed about how she had just killed the biggest spider ever. I broke down in tears because I, like the spider, was pregnant and I felt a connection to it. Silly, I suppose, but there it is. That was some spider.

I have found kitchen islands to be impractical and downright annoying. They stop the flow of traffic and you end up bumping into other people. Also, the golden triangle can be broken by an island. Golden triangle is an imaginary triangle that supports the ease of working in a kitchen so in a few steps you can easily reach 3 things in your kitchen which are the oven/range, the fridge and the sink. Nothing should block the flow to these 3 items in your kitchen.Unless you have a very large and roomy kitchen an island might not be a good idea. I had two homes that had large kitchens with islands and could not stand them.

I was having a pretty hard day, today, so when I watched that clip it made me laugh when it raised the white flag and then cheated! OMG, too funny. I want one.

I bought an espresso machine nearly 2 yrs ago. It's programable to make many different types of coffee drinks plus straight shots of espresso. It does it all from grinding the beans to the perfect end products and suddenly it broke! Called the company and the 2 yr warranty was still good so they will fix or replace my old machine. I love it. I found some coffee beans make me jittery or have anxiety attacks but not a certain coffee bean imported from Italy. I wonder why that is? What's the secret?

You can keep your cartoons and erase them all for this list. Star Trek is #45??? Dr Who is #37?? X Files is #18?? No,no,no. I strongly object to this list. Make 2 lists. One for your cartoons and one for real flesh and blood actors.

Yes, tigers are mammals and can get rabies. I had a series of rabies shots when I was 10 so I did some reading up on the subject. A squirrel cannot carry rabies because their body temp won't let rabies live in their bodies which I found out after having my series of shots.

Hank the tank bear has been found not guilty. 2 female bears and a different male bear have been found to be the culprits using DNA testing. Hank is free to rummage at will w/o fear of being euthanized.

I read that the executioner picked up Mary Queen of Scots head by her hair and slapped her face and she opened her eyes and glared at him. She is an ancestor of mine, BTW.
