Some really great posters, and he has put up a second page, too. The vintage stuff always amazes me at the blatant sexualization of women back then. Also, it was interesting to see the names associated with the flicks. Steve McQeen was in The Blob? John Sayles wrote Pirhana? John Saxon was...only in one of these??
I know what library I want to haunt. It's the public library in my hometown of Hillsboro. The reason? It perfectly resembled the library described in Stephen King's epic story, It. The fact that I read the story after I had left the town didn't make it any less creepy.
But if I were to haunt it, I'd never appear as a clown.
I have a cat just like that, he thinks he's small and wiry like his sister, and that he can be as agile as her, but he's just a big boned, pleasantly plump cartman. I could see him attempting this stuff, with the same result being him splayed out.
The "on location" shots were basically fly-over shots of Timberline, from what I've heard. I actually stayed a night in Timberline once, just to feel a connection to the movie. There was a ghost story the staff told us to get us in the mood, then we ended up spending the night with the resident "ghost", a wonderful St. Bernard named Heidi (I think).
I would recommend Replay by Ken Grimwood, because maybe if the president liked it enough, they'd finally commit to making a movie. This book BEGS a screenplay, dammit. OK so it's not exactly sci-fi. In that case I'd recommend Nightfall by Asimov and Robert Silverberg. Great parable about undiscovered science vs religious conviction.
But if I were to haunt it, I'd never appear as a clown.
"Get away from my oil rig, you BITCH!"
