Dentists see this and think, "I could buy a boat!" Australian artists Nicole Andrijevic and Tanya Schultz, also known as Pip & Pop, made enormous fantasy landscapes using brightly colored candy. You can view more pictures at the link.

For the moment, I won't inquire why you're asking this question. Let's simply address the matter at hand. According to researchers at Life's Little Mysteries, it might not be a crime to fake your own death:
"I am unaware of any federal statute that would apply to an individual who fakes their own death," FBI spokesman Bill Carter told Life's Little Mysteries.
In fact, according to missing person search-and-rescue expert Jeff Hasse, president of the Minnesota-based company Midwest Technical Rescue Training Associates, the right to disappear often causes conflicts between families of missing persons and law-enforcement agencies. Families think police investigators should do more to search for their missing loved one. "Law enforcement's response is, 'He's an adult. He can go missing if he wants to,'" Hasse told Life's Little Mysteries. If there's no evidence of foul play involved, sheriffs may not pursue a missing adult. [...]
"Pseudocide (faking one's own suicide) isn't inherently a crime," said James Quiggle, director of communications for the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud in Washington, D.C. "But it involves so many built-in frauds that it's virtually impossible to legally fake your drowning. Frankly, you'll only be drowning in fraud.
Launched in 1797, the frigate USS Constitution is the oldest vessel in active service in the United States Navy. Since 1881, it has sailed without the aid of tugs only once. Tomorrow, it will do so again to mark the 200th anniversary of its battle with HMS Guerriere:
During Sunday's sail, the Constitution's crew of about 65, accompanied by 150 sailors selected to be part of event, will unfurl four of its 36 sails, Neely said. The tugs will stand by as a precaution when the Constitution sails on its own. And the trip can't happen unless the weather conditions are right.
The ship won't move in winds less than five mph and anything over about 15 mph would put too much stress on the vessel, Neely said. But the forecast looks favorable.
The lengthy work in preparation for Sunday's sail was largely on the Constitution's aesthetics, though the masts were restored, Neely said. The crew also underwent extensive training on how to handle a vessel that's unlike any other in the U.S. Navy.
Tom Willett is a renowned expert on the proper consumption of watermelons. He's spent a lifetime studying the subject and would now like to pass on the results of his painstaking research.
First off, put away that fork. You need a spoon. Willett warns us:
The Fork Cartel many years ago sort of brainwashed people into thinking they're supposed to eat a watermelon with a fork just in an attempt to sell forks.
It's true. And there's more. Willett lays out the complex but optimal process for eating a watermelon, including the use of two secret ingredients and an engineering principle discovered by Archimedes.
Watch, learn and be thankful.

In a delicious rebellion against adulthood, the bloggers at We Are Not Martha bought a box of Fruity Pebbles--the Flintstones-themed sugary cereal--and put it to good use. They baked pebbles into the donut batter and sprinkled them generously on the icing.

Do you remember Floyd Davis, the man who turned a toolbox into a boombox? Being a successful crafter means being organized. So Davis had Jason Hoodrich ink this tattoo on his arm. Except for the lines, the notepad is blank. Davis fills it in before he heads to the hardware store for supplies.
Do you want your house to have a homey ambiance? How about a romantic one? Whatever your interior design goal, ceramic artist Ryan Weigner has a firearm-shaped light fixture for you.
I know--it's what you've always wanted, right? Wendy Molyneux of McSweeny's offers a lengthy thank you to those kind crusaders who let you know what you should be doing:
Oh, hello, person I have never met before! I am so glad you ran up to me on this street where I am walking with my baby. You did not scare me at all with your very loud voice and the way you grabbed my arm! In fact, I am super relieved because I have a series of questions about my baby that I hope you can answer, and I am going to ask them because I know you would never ever offer me unsolicited advice.
First of all, should he be sleeping, ever? If so, should it be at night? Should I keep him in a bassinet or crib or should I let him just sleep in the yard, or the toaster? And when he sleeps, should I just let him sleep as long as he wants, or should I wake him up every fifteen minutes or so for a “baby party” where I give him hard candies and play loud music? Being a new parent is confusing, and there aren’t any books or internets about it, that’s why I have to rely on kind strangers like you.
Yes, he IS crying, isn’t he? You are right. He’s probably hungry. Should I feed him? And if so, where do I put the food? His eyeball? His butt? What kinds of cuts of meat do babies like? Should I not give him hot peppers? How much salt is too much, and when can I expect him to use a knife? If he spits up, should I have him put to sleep? There are just so many things I need to know, and that is why I rely on total strangers like you who happen to be experts on child care.

As I Lay Frying is a simple but brilliant Tumblr blog. It combines two great achievements of humanity: donuts and literature. The juxtapositions of literary quotations and deep fried batter are never explained, but always make sense.
Had the Rebel Alliance a few more of these, it might have won the Battle of Hoth. YouTube user skylarsmith3 build this, the greatest snow sled in history. It's modeled after the T-47 Airspeeder from The Empire Strikes Back. At the link, you can watch a video of it going down a hill.
Do you need a magical potion or spell? eBay is not the place for you. Starting this Fall, it's banning the sale of magic items:
The following items are also being added to the prohibited items list: advice; spells; curses; hexing; conjuring; magic; prayers; blessing services; magic potions; healing sessions; work from home businesses & information; wholesale lists, and drop shop lists.
In contrast, at the NeatoShop, we sell a magical unicorn mask.
Need a curse or a hexing? Maybe we can work something out. Make us an offer.
