The original Soundwave transformed into a cassette player boom box. It was the 80s, so that was high tech and cool.
Now it seems really obsolete. So Hasbro created a new version that turns Soundwave into a Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet computer. Well, something that looks like a tablet. It's non functional--for now.
Here's a promotional video for the new $26 toy:
It's time to make the banana chimichangas!
Stephan Brusche, a banana artist, finally saw the Deadpool movie. He says that it's "Very funny and well made!" It inspired him to recreate the famous anti-hero with bananas.

What's in your dog's wallet? His mind is always on you, so he carries appropriate mementos. What about your cat? Well, he's thinking about you, too. Just in a different way.
This is the true story of eight Eternians picked to live in Castle Grayskull, compete in challenges, and have their lives filmed to find out what happens when the Masters of the Universe stop being polite and start getting impolite.
DreamWorks TV edited the classic 80s cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe to resemble MTV's Real World. Immaturity, naivety, selfishness, and personality conflicts collide as He-Man, Teela, Skeletor, Orko, Merman, Evil-Lyn, Man-at-Arms, and Beast Man try to live together and win prizes in the reality show that should have been.

Act stupid? Shoot, I don't even have to act. It just comes naturally!
The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was the predecessor to the Central Intelligence Agency. In 1944, it published a sabotage manual that was distributed to resistance forces in Nazi-occupied Europe. It covered a lot more than just making bombs and blowing up bridges. In fact, it's a practical guide to success in any large organization--or at least how to have fun.
The manual shows how you, the ordinary person, can disrupt society at the micro level in order to ultimately degrade the effectiveness of Nazi Germany's empire.
I'm beginning to suspect that I've already seen the influence of this manual at past employers. It's like an anti-leadership guide.
You can see some choice selections of the book at Messy Nessy Chic or the full text here.
Publio Delgado, a Spanish musician, wrote "Dou hua," a guitar and percussion piece, in 2012.
Or that's what he thought. Video footage of him singing in the bathtub when he was 1 year old reveals that he's had the melody rolling around in his head for a long time.
In this invigorating music video, Delgado harmonizes with himself, adding an instrumental backdrop to the vocals from his much younger self.

When Ann Adams and Liz Brensinger created Green Heron Farms on their property in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania, they promptly experienced a serious problem: many of the farming and gardening tools commonly available were made for men's bodies. In particular, they expected users to have a certain height and weight that Adams and Brensinger didn't have.
So the two launched Green Heron Tools, a company that designs and sells farming tools built with women's bodies in mind. Civil Eats explains why these modified tools are important:
“Before, a shovel was a shovel, with a handle that was usually too tall for me to use with any real dexterity and a blade that often cut into the soles of my shoes over time as I dug,” says Liz.
She adds: “I’ve met people who feel like using a different tool expresses weakness, and I think when I first moved into this field, I felt similarly. It’s an ego thing, [but] not realistic when you look at the science and see the differences in our body structure.”
“The HERShovel has completely changed the way I use this type of tool,” says Danielle Marvit, a former organic grower and herdswoman, who is currently the production manager for Garden Dreams Urban Farm & Nursery in Pittsburgh. “It has been great for my body, and it is the most efficient shovel I have ever used.”

Katinchka explains that she always keeps her sleepy cat with her. She's cut and died into the hair on the back of her head! Aliya Ashkarova, a hairstylist and makeup artist in St. Petersburg, Russsia, gave her this clever hairdo.
It looks cute from the front, too.

For all of these years, we've been eating bologna wrong. Toddler siblings Tyson and Lilly have discovered the right way. They found that the meat product is naturally adhesive to flat surfaces. So they trimmed it into shapes with their teeth, then fixed it to the walls of their home.
There's a lot of potential in this art form. An inventive artist like Hong Yi could work wonders with bologna.

You want to be healthy? Then eat like a caveman. You'll end up with the vigor and vitality of one.
But what if you're already a caveman? Back in those days, the trendy diet was not Paleo, but Pleistocene. In this College Humor video, three early humans discuss the latest developments in food science and popular dieting.

Two years ago, Rheann, 6, Ainsley, 4, and Rylie, 3, were all fighting cancer. Photographers Lora Scantling and Christy Goodger shot them holding and providing each other with emotional support. They inscribed the picture with the sentiment “Sometimes strength comes in knowing that you are not alone.” This image touched many hearts and went viral across social media.
We have good news: all three girls are in remission. Scantling told the Today show that the trio are doing well:
- Ainsley continues to be monitored through monthly blood work but remains in remission and is "enjoying the springtime."
- Rylie gets scans every three months, but continues to get stronger. "She has left the hospital and now enjoys her days in Pre-K, gymnastics, dance and T-ball."
- Rheann, the oldest of the group, permanently lost her hair from dozens of rounds of radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Her eyes also droop slightly because of where her brain tumor was located. "The good news is she is a happy 8-year-old with an active life. She loves to ride her bike, hang out with her school friends, and she loves to play with her sisters," Scantling said.
Scantling photographed all of the girls again, this time holding a copy of that famous image.

Do you like to start the day with a cup of coffee and a donut? Kirbie of the food blog Kirbie’s Cravings is most of the way there with her donut mug cakes.
She microwaved cake batter inside mugs, then used a cupcake corer—a clever tool that I had not heard of—to cut out the hole in the donut. She spread a chocolate ganache over the top and added sprinkles to create an almost cartoonish-looking donut. Yummy!

The Toyota Corolla is surprisingly effective in the sands of Jakku. Even BB-8 has trouble keeping pace.
Redditor dubsallday saw this great car mod inspired by Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. S/he also made a recording of it rolling forward in traffic. You can watch it here (auto-start).
Who does it belong to? You can investigate by following the hashtag printed on the side of the car: #ISpyBB8.

Oh, yeah, I am definitely doing this to my wife the next time we go to Whataburger!
This is the first time that I've heard of this prank, but it's been recorded for YouTube at least a few times. Sometimes people use hot sauce instead of ketchup, which is an even better choice.
