If I remember correctly, the alternate history short story "Billy Mitchell's Overt Act" depicts such an event. America is therefore reluctant to commit to a full war.
I think that the utility of the Nimitz would ultimately depend on any nuclear weapons that it had on board at the time.
My kids prefer Daddy Cow. Sometimes they ride Daddy Horse, Daddy Sheep, Daddy Cat and Daddy Pig. But they generally prefer Daddy Cow. So I give them rides around our home while mooing.
A saddle would be helpful, especially for younger kids. Until a few weeks ago, my 20 month-old had trouble staying on.
