I've never been to Italy, but I'd enjoy visiting Sicily. I've read that it's filled with architectural and archaeological treasures by the many different cultures and empires which have ruled it.
I'm inclined to agree and pushed back hard on other issues. The deceptive alteration and manipulation of language is a threat to critical thinking, but I don't think that using "he or she" when referring to an unidentified person of unknown gender is actually a problem.
Makes sense to me. Bored=put heavy weights on eyelids.
