My take on that is we are so spoiled [lucky] in having too much food, too many clothes, so much comfort that many Americans [especially the young] have never had to want for anything. So they are bored with life. They have no appreciation for anything and this leads to the current pop culture fascination with living on the edge and death. How else can you explain the zombie/vampire thing?
A shout out to those idiots who refuse to turn on their headlights in dense fog. People die every year from pulling out in front of a car they can't see coming. I have had to lower my window and listen for cars at an intersection many times. Headlights don't improve the drivers vision in the fog but they make your car at least twice as visible to other drivers.
I think most kids are bored to death in school. History was my favorite subject but we never heard about anything after the Civil War. It was like our country ended in 1865.
I can tell you how to get thicker eyelashes without surgery. LEAVE THEM ALONE! No mascara or lash curlers/torture devices. Men often have beautiful eyelashes because they don't break them off or yank them out while applying and removing makeup like woman do.
