I'm just glad we've moved away from our problematic past. True freedom from gender separation and protecting women's virtues, all that stuff. The progress we've made as a society has led to things like twitch and youtube and chaturbate.
I spent years pondering the trajectory of modern society and modernity in general. Eventually I realized that I believed more in determinism than free will, and that life is self-evident. Point I'm trying to make is - If people could resist things like technology-addiction, substance-addiction, modern degeneracy, etc, they would. But they can't. So it's best to live your life, be the best you, and not think too much about what others are doing. People are determined to do what they do. There's no turning back the trajectory. But you can still be the best you.
Someone should do a street survey to see how many kids/people know Pong by name or by seeing an image of it. I was just thinking to myself - most gamers today probably don't know what Pong is. But they may see an image of it and say "oh yeah i know what that is".
I duno. I watched my father for 20 years do a lot of stuff I didn't do. I think people put way too much emphasis on nurture over nature. We love the nurture argument because we want to believe everyone is generally the same (and generally good). Think about all the sperm that don't get through to the egg. Now think about the ones that do get through. It's literally a gamble whether a psycho or a passive person gets through.
very cool
although they usually have guys at least 6ft
so that part of the underwater training they won't have to deal with
