Animals with a strong core (think pigs, cows, etc.) aren't very agile and can't "flow" too well. They tend to stand their ground and fight. Animals like Tigers and Monkeys are built to be more agile around trees and vegetation (and fit in tight spaces).

I would argue that you'd also need good social interactions along with activity - activity alone wouldn't cut it. People who commit suicide often cite that "things going wrong too often" as the reason they do it. Meaning, you need breaks from the bad times. If you don't get breaks and it's all bad, some people never recover.
