I made an order with Uber Eats, and they cancelled it without telling me. Called them - they coudln't tell me why it was cancelled. AND they didn't owe me a credit or gift card or anything - even though it was their fault. Called Mcdonalds, told them what happened. "Hey can you guys make a call and maybe have my local mcdonalds save me a item? As kind of a goodwill gesture because of what happened?". Nope. I got screwed by Mcdonalds and Uber Eats, even though I was the customer IN THE RIGHT. Oh also, fun fact: if you look on ebay right now the slippers are going for 100 and the fuzzy socks are going for 75. :-/
