My grade school had the rule that for Grade 8 grad, all girls had to dance the first dance with their father. In my case, that wasn't a possibility, so I was told that if I wanted to attend the dance at all, I had to dance with my homeroom teacher....yeah. Abusive comment hidden. (Show it anyway.)
