yayo - that was one of the best movies ever! I had forgotten the name though. For years, I used to wonder if video games had secret levels and prizes like the one in that movie (although I figured my brother would win it, I wasn't that much of a video game buff myself).

David - that what most Chicagoans I knew thought when the drawings were first shown (I lived in Chicago for 5 years). I find it funny how it's gone from something to laugh at to a monument of admiration (personally I think it's tres cool).

The amount of free time enjoyed by Something Awful regulars has always amazed me (a cousin of mine spends 4-8 hours a night photoshopping random pictures on their forums). I imagine this video must have taken a few weeks to put together, geez.

I agree with Johnny Cat. Seems like it's a 50% list of great solos that take lots of talent (e.g. Eddie Van Halen), and popular stuff that new guitar players can learn (Stairway). Fun to watch the videos though!

This is pretty cool. I'd love to see them play some faster pieces on the Musical Stones though.

I debated posting this, as I felt it bordered between Neat and Scary. Then again, if you're an inland farmer or ice fisherman in Northern Russia, you probably can't wait for the day that the seas rise and earth warms - can you say cheap beachfront property?

You can definitely tell who is a cat owner/lover and dog owner here. Alex, I posted the same video on my site last night, and got pretty much the same response.
My grandmother had a cat and it did the exact same thing every time she tried to wash it ... so unless it's cruel in general to wash cats, I thought it was just normal (but funny) behavior.

Miss C - add any more blogs to your repertoire and you might need to hand out business tablets instead of business cards

Ugh, that's scary ... my high school had a guy who looked like he was 30, hopefully this isn't a common occurrence.

Just what we need to teach our kids ... I guess it's better than telling them to "fight fire with fire" (BTW, who ever came up with that dumb idea!)

After a while, I would guess that this device's users would "see" anything that touched their tongue. It would ahve to be strange to eat something after using it a while.

"Another company had built the only other public robotic garage in the United States, the one with a checkered past.
Built in 2002 across the river in Hoboken, N.J., with 314 spaces for monthly rentals only, the garage dropped an unoccupied Cadillac Deville six floors in 2004 and a Jeep four stories the following year. Early last year, a malfunction that went unrepaired for 26 hours trapped cars inside."
I'll be sure to wait in line to have my car parked there! ;)
