Certainly there are other interpretations, but when I read it with the other surrounding imagery it feels 'right' to me. Especially when you consider who the author(s) would have been most angry at during that era. I wouldn't force my view on others - I just find it pretty convincing.

The "Number of the Beast" from Revelations is generally thought to be a way of referring to Nero as well.

as Wikipedia explains ... "The Greek spelling, “Ner?n Kaisar,” transliterates into Hebrew as “???? ???” or “nrvn qsr”. Adding the corresponding values yields 666"

Re: Rick Mayall -> Drop Dead Fred

Or The Young Ones, if you're even older than that.

I wonder if some Peeves footage will be on the Extended DVD. That is such PERFECT casting. Rickman, Coltrane, Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter are also pretty much perfect.

Everytime I have seen this problem it has been font related. I had a user switch their default font from "times" to "times new roman" and it cleared up. I think one was True type and one was postscript, but I forget which. It's fairly easy to remove / switch your fonts so you might give that a try.

It would be fascinating to find out what took them so long to make this. I too am a procrastinator, but 5 years?

(I also have a plastic DRD on my desk right now)

NEWSFLASH!!! People on their way to work might not have time to really appreciate great works of classical music. I can't believe the author of this article is so amazed by this. Before the morning coffee I could probably walk right past the reanimated, reunited Beatles, Coltrane or Mozart himself and it would only very faintly register on my preconcious mind.

Also NEWSFLASH!!!, some people listen to iPods to avoid the usual subways noise of panhandlers, bad street musicians, overly loud annoucing speakers and tourists who can't modulate to an "indoor" voice. Does this prove they're missing out on the finer things in life? Personally I don't think so, but the author somehow equates headphones with corporate zombieism so, who knows.

Sometimes they put reproductions of great paintings or sculpture in the subway as well and they get about the same level of appreciation. People just don't stand enraptured at the Art. Does this mean that we have lost all appreciation of beauty? I doubt it.

"... then he drove me to the hospital and filled out the insurance forms, while I got checked out."

I think this might be one of those people who spends a bit too much time with their pet. It's more likely falling backwards forced the object out, and after that danger of passing out is pretty slight once you can breathe.
