Ever since I saw Saddam rockin' the tieless look at his kangaroo trials I've been less inclined to "tie one on," so to speak. (I mean ties, BTW. I'm still an untreated alcoholic)
I am saddened by this trend, however. I would very much like people to look less slovenly. I am reminded of the scene at the end of Martin Scorsese's "Casino," where droves of fat, t-shirt clad Mickey Mouse tourists are seen approaching the gates. I long for a return of classic style to rescue my delicate aesthetic sensibilities from the hideous land of tacky ying and bland, khaki yang that the US has become.

Possibly the lamest post I've ever seen on Neatorama. Not neat or special at all. It simply doesn't fit the spirit of the site. Especially disappointing in light of Neatorama's usually high standards. I hope this is an isolated incident, because the competition is fierce out there...
