I was in Pittsburgh for "sweater day". With the warmer weather perhaps it should be changed to "sneaker day". I saw David Newell at the Children's Museum with my kids. He his a dear man and a true hero for carrying on the legacy. His documentary Speedy Delivery is being shown March 23rd at the Hollywood theater 7pm. Named Celebrity Captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins for the National Hockey League's 75th Anniversary celebration in the 1991-92 season. But at the Penguins game on his birthday this year their was no mention of his birthday. Next year Purple Panda and Mr. McFeely should be riding zamboni's! There are new books and documentaries being made the simple faith of Fred Rogers and I'm proud of you and also the documentary Mr. Rogers and Me which was cancelled at the children's museum for lack of member interest. I saw it in D.C. it was standing room only!
