Maxford's Comments

For recent authors, I suspect much of Neal Stephenson's will endure. It will be interesting if William Gibson's work stands the test of time it is fairly technology dependent and it some of the technology in his early works seem laughable even now. However, it does offer insight into the early computer age and may be read as an almost historical text.

An author that is from the golden age I hope will be recognized in the next 100 years is Alfred Bester for his novel the Stars my Destination but it is now and has been relatively obscure.
