Thanks for posting this. I live in Pittsburgh, and while I was never lucky enough to meet him, David Newell still does appearances as Mr. McFeely sometimes, and I've had the chance to meet him and to tour the neighborhood of Make-Believe.
In addition to the Post-Gazette featuring him, Pittsburgh Magazine did an entire issue on him when he died. Even the advertisers put in things about him, with tiny little logos at the bottom. It was really touching, and I still have it somewhere.
Also, if you're interested in people who used to be on the show, "Handyman" Negri is actually a professional jazz guitarist. http://www.joenegri.com/

So, not only are goats mowing lawns in a more environmentally friendly way (http://www.theenvironmentalblog.org/2009/05/goats-as-lawn-mowers.html), they're also taking the bus? Humans, we should not allow ourselves to be put to shame by the green efforts of goats!
Now get out there and chew some grass. :P

It looks like a tiny lamp- but it's a lamp used in the home of a blind person. That way, things look right to sighted people, but the blind person doesn't accidentally burn themselves on a real lamp.

She's adorable, and makes the cutest sounds!
(I'm a summer worker at the Pittsburgh Zoo.)
We also have baby beavers, young otters, and baby deer- and that's just in Kids' Kingdom!
