I think project glass is awesome to that end i built a version using vuzix glasses, mic, webcam and built it in adobe air. Here is a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33wOKBMA2QA if i can put this together in a few hours with stuff i had about i think google will be able to make this a reality.
