It is pretty disgusting.
Last weekend, driving near the outskirts of Birmingham we passed something that in my 25 years on this planet, I have NEVER seen before. A field with chickens in it!
I actually found myself staring, and commented to my other half I thought it was very sad that was the first time I'd ever seen chickens living in a field (apart from the odd pet on a farm but that's different-this was obviously a much larger scale thing)
Would be very nice to see more chickens running around in fields instead of stories like this!

yeah, theyre basically goth fashion acessories, tend to be worn like a headband rather than actually on the eyes, girls wear them alot when they wear hairpieces to cover up the natural hair that may still be showing around their forehead.

I've never flown by a US airline, but I used to live in Dubai for a couple of years. One time, we were flying back to England, and the flight used to change in Doha. I think it was P.I.A we used to fly. Well, this one time, we all boarded the plane, waited for a bit, and on came some paramedics with a stretcher. On this stretcher was a very poorly guy who was being rushed to London for emergency treatment they then didn't have acess to in Doha, and the quickest way to get him there they decided, was to stick him in the doorway on a stretcher accompanied by a couple of paramedics. All good and well, until an hour or so into the flight...

...when he died. We, were naturally sat a few seats infront of him. So we spent the remainder of a long flight pretty much next to a corpse. Really nice at about 11 years old. The cabin crew were casually handing out sandwiches. All in all, a fun flight!

i used to live in dubai when i was younger, and one year, ramadan fell over christmas.

sooo.. we were banned from putting up christmas decorations if they were visible to anyone outside. banned from eating outside as the article states also.

what really got me though, was going into the supermarkets around that time, the christmas displays were up in them...and santa was...

a short fillipino man in a beard. that was an amusing sight i say :)

hmm, you know in the trenches in ww1, the soldiers made things out of whatever they could find. it sort or looks like a cancle holder/snuffer made out of whatever some soldier could find.
