those are hardly "American Marines". The badges that are shown are in Thai. Drinking snake blood is a common thing in the Thai army. In the Brazilian army, they do eat snake meat (for the armed forces that "work" in the Amazon Forest).

Back to the picture: everyone not showing a badge, aren't US Marines. These would be using some sort of badge on the right arm.
