Whatever happened to sending in a bag lunch with the kids? Why should kids be required to eat school food? I packed lunches for all 4 of my kids (and myself) every day. No wonder the kids are learning that they are "owed" something decent, and it's okay to be ingrateful for a gift. Snobs. Would a homeless person turn down a cheese sandwich? I say that if the parents signed up for hot lunch and don't pay, put a lein on their house. And write that into the lunch signup so it's no surprise.

Regarding Jesus' existence or not, secular (non-religious) Roman records of the time recorded a large-scale hunt for the missing body of Jesus. This is not fiction, and historians acknowledge this. Sorry, I can't remember if I saw this on a PBS show or the History Channel. Jesus was a real person (if you choose to believe Roman historical records).
